Janek Chocolaterie and Coffeespot are two family-run Moravian businesses united by their commitment to quality ingredients, honest craftsmanship and a personal approach to their customers. As part of the expansion of their premises in Hradčovice, a new shop was created – not simply as a place to purchase products, but as an inviting environment where visitors can slow down and enjoy their time.

“Our aim was to create a comfortable and harmonious space. We were looking for high-quality, durable chairs with a timeless design from a local manufacturer. At the same time, we wanted to achieve a consistent look and work with a single supplier across the entire company,” explains Václav Durďák, Managing Director, describing the vision behind the project.

One of the client’s key requirements was to select seating that would remain comfortable even during longer visits, while also being durable enough to withstand the demands of a busy retail environment. The design also needed to complement the products and atmosphere of the shop without competing for attention.

Together with the client, we selected Lambda chairs featuring a plastic shell and a seat upholstered in Mara vegan leather. Its smoky beige shade, combined with the light beige chair frame, naturally enhances the bright and airy character of the interior. The durable, easy-care materials are also well suited to the demands of everyday use.

The resulting solution brings together comfort, functionality and clean contemporary design, while contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the entire shop.

The client was looking for a high-quality Czech manufacturer capable of providing a suitable solution not only for the customer-facing shop area, but also for other spaces across the company.
