We celebrated 35 years of RIM

On Friday, 12 June, the Zlín Congress Centre was dedicated to the celebration of our company’s 35th anniversary. After years of everyday work, projects, production, business trips, meetings with customers and joint efforts to move the company forward, we paused for a moment to look back at what we have built over the past 35 years.

The festive evening brought together employees and their loved ones, as well as our business partners from a number of countries – Austria, Germany, France, India, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

The evening began with an informal welcome by the company owners in the foyer, accompanied by traditional cimbalom music. Guests could also watch our new production video, which captures the journey of a chair from the designer’s first concept to the finished product. From the very beginning, the evening naturally reflected what belongs to RIM: craftsmanship, people, design and honest production.

In the main hall, there was also something for those who like to look back. Projected photographs from various events and from the everyday life of the company brought back familiar faces and many moments that have shaped our history.

After the official opening, congratulations were extended to the company owners, followed by the presentation of gifts as a thank-you for their work, courage and the direction in which they have been leading the company for 35 years.

The evening programme was varied. A visual experience was provided by the dancers of the Arabesque LED Show, Barmani Zlín performed a bartender show with excellent cocktails, and music for listening and dancing was provided by the bands Queenways, Back2Back and DJ Ondřej Albrecht.

Our guests’ taste buds were delighted by a rich buffet with grilled specialities. And because wine is an inseparable part of RIM, there was also a tasting of delicious wines from Maňák Winery. The photo booth was another popular spot, remaining in constant use throughout the evening.

The celebration of 35 years of RIM was not only a reminder of the company’s history. Above all, it was a meeting of the people who are part of it: employees, families, partners, friends and everyone who has contributed, and continues to contribute, to the RIM journey.

Thank you to everyone who spent this evening with us, and to all performers and event partners who helped create an atmosphere we will gladly remember. We look forward to meeting again, whether at work or at another company anniversary.
